When a friend asks for help, you help them. Even if its crazy! Our friend has asked us if we could do the honor of spoiling these two donkeys for their rest of their lives, as they have earned it so we welcome these special donkeys as the newest Empowered Equines. The small mammoth, Grayson has been having trouble with his behavior around vets and farriers, so we have our work cut out for us! But the little cutie, Merrygold is a perfect angel! Grayson was born 2002, and spent much of his life at Save Your Ass Long Ear Rescue where he was well cared for, but he developed Lyme disease and the discomfort lead to his behavior getting worse and worse for vets and farriers. Merrygold was born and raised at Save Your Ass Long Ear Rescue, while she had a sad accident when she was just a couple weeks old and lost an eye, she’s lived a wonderful and happy 28 years with them!! They’re a bonded pair and have come here to retire and continue to get lots of loving attention. They’ve settled in quickly and are loving the time spent being groomed, fed soups, and doing clicker training and agility!
