This class is for anyone who loves working with and supporting the non-human animals among us. It focuses on applying the beautiful IET® techniques to clear trauma from cats, dogs, and horses. The techniques can apply to other animals as well.

Join Linda Crabtree of Circle of Peace to learn about and practice a method to bring ease to your animal's mind, body and spirit, and yours, and to strengthen the connection with your animal. Linda will introduce the basics of animal Reiki followed by two (2) guided meditations with the amazing Empowered Equines. You will gain an understanding of what animal Reiki is and how it supports the animals' well-being, and the Six Pillars of the Let Animals Lead® approach to animal Reiki. We will also discuss the various ways that animals respond to the Reiki energy. During the guided meditations, we will quiet our mind and body, offering to the magnificent equines a calm, peaceful space filled with balance, harmony, love and compassion.

Join us at Empowered Equines Rescue with a class taught by Amy Jordan of Jordan Equine Therapeutics and Tranquility. We'll first discuss basic horse anatomy and function. You'll learn the basics of equine musculature and the importance of massage for their growth, healing, recovery from exercise, and the everyday stresses of life. You'll leave knowing how to feel for discomfort, find if there are any problems that require a professional, and a basic set of stretches you can do with your own horses! You'll get hands on practice with our rescue horses, so you feel confident with your skills when you go home. You'll also have access to priority booking with Amy Jordan to get professional assessment and plan for your horse!

This class costs $75 with a large portion being donated to the rescue.

This generative session will be lead by Lynne Schmidt, a mental health professional who has a focus in trauma informed care and emotion focused therapy. Memoirists and creative non fiction writers should develop skills around grounding when faced with traumatic memories, and how to write through it. Three to four prompts will be offered, as well as space for sharing small segments as comfortable.

Please bring a comfy outdoor chair and your writing tools.
We'll have water and some snacks available, as well as some seating, and a lovely horse farm to overlook.

Have a horse-crazy youngster?
Sign them up for the 3-hour kids’ program.
They'll learn horse safety and basic first aid in a fun, hands-on environment.
There's even a recipe for horse cookies in their manual, and they'll all get a frameable certificate of completion!
No horse experience necessary!

Have you ever dreamed of being able to communicate with your horse without tack or tools, overcoming wild obstacles and having a blast together, on the ground or in the saddle?!

This is definitely the class for you! We will be teaching about how to use positive reinforcement training to work with and communicate with our horses at liberty, no ropes or whips. You'll learn to guide horses over, under, around, and through a wide variety of fun obstacles! You'll work with our rescue horses to get hands on experience so you feel confident bringing these skills home to your own horses!
