Dream
When I went to a big amusement park resort, I knew I'd be taking home lots of souvenirs but I never expected a Clydesdale to be one of them! Whenever I vacation I always explore anything horse related (of course) and while touring the big barn at this big amusement resort company, I got talking to the manager. Luckily, a friend of mine used to work there, so I had some connections with them. As we chatted it came out that we run retirement/hospice/rescue for draft horses and they just so happened to have a sweet old Clydesdale who was ready to retire from his job of carriage rides. While he's only 16y.o and sweet as pie, he was tired and burnt out from his hard work lifestyle. He was extremely well cared for at his job, but some of us just aren't cut out for a life of crowds and chaos. He was tired and his people knew it was best for him to move on to retirement before he had health complications or was really sick of his work. This was such a kind choice by his humans and he has come as such a blessing to our farm!
